We are saddened to announce the passing of a dear daughter, mother, grandmother, friend and so much more.  Rhonda Gale Sorrells, 64, of Spring, Texas passed away on September 1, 2023, after a hard-fought battle with breast cancer.  Rhonda was born on January 26, 1959, to Elizabeth (Betty) Helton in Houston Texas.

After graduating high school in 1976, Rhonda married James Sorrells and went on to have two daughters, Elizabeth Nicole (Nici) and Heather Michelle.  Rhonda gave all she had to her family and friends.  She loved to travel and recounted her favorite trip to Australia.  She spent time worshiping in her home church Gateway.  In later years her four grandchildren became her pride and joy.  Spending time with them in her favorite place, Port O Connor (POC), was the greatest memory for her and them.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her father Raymond Helton, brother Ernest (Butch) Buys, and grandson Cash Sorrells.  She is survived by her dear mother Elizabeth (Betty) Helton, loving spouse James (Jimmy) Sorrells, daughters – Nici Sorrells and Heather Neeley, and her four great joys, grandchildren – Carter Sorrells, Cannon Sorrells, Fitz Neeley and Jovie Neeley.

As we gather to celebrate Rhonda's life, we remember her radiant smile, her boundless love, and the enduring faith that guided her path.  A visitation will be held at Klein Funeral Home in Tomball, Texas on September 6, 2023, from 5-8pm.  Services will be held at Gateway Church in Spring, Texas on September 7, 2023, at 11am, with a reception to follow.  Burial Services will be held at Klein Memorial Park in Tomball, Texas at 2pm.
