Obituary

With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of our beloved sister, fierce Aunt and friend. Rhonda Renee Jeffery was born on October 2, 1962 in Tomball, Texas and went home to her Heavenly Father on May 3, 2026, with her family by her side. She was a woman of strength, faith, and compassion who touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her father, Calvin Washington; her sister, Cassie "Tiny" Washington; her husband, Leslie Kietzman; and her first husband, Marvin Jeffery.

She leaves behind a loving family to cherish her memory, including her mother, Erma Mae Washington; her brother, Roney Washington; and her sisters, Lois Marie Seeling (Royce), Catrina Washington Cooks (Larry), and Cherie Cornish (Tyrone). She is also survived by a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, extended family members, and dear friends.

She found joy in the simple things and had a love for football, especially cheering on the Houston Texans.

Throughout her life, she dedicated herself to caring for others through her work at Park Manor Nursing Home and Lawrence Street Nursing Home, where she made a lasting impact on those she served.

Her family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Klein Funeral Home, Fallbrook Church, and all who contributed through GoFundMe, family support, and generous donations during this difficult time.

A special message from her loving mother:

"Lord I pray you make our hearts strong, may the love and the beautiful memories be with us forever. I believe my daughter is with your angels. Ease my pain with good memories. We thank you for the life we spent together."
With love always,
Your Mother, Erma

A prayer of comfort from her siblings:

"In your hands, O Lord, we humbly entrust our sister. In this life you embraced her with your tender love; deliver her now from every evil and bid them eternal rest. The old order has passed away: welcome her into paradise, where there will be no sorrow, no weeping or pain, but fullness of peace and joy with your Son and the Holy Spirit forever and ever. Amen."

Forever in our hearts,
Your siblings

We take comfort in knowing she is now at peace, embraced by eternal love. She will forever remain in our hearts, remembered for her kindness, strength, and the love she shared so freely.
