Reverend Fred A. Hill Jr.

Reverend Fred A. Hill Jr. was born on April 14, 1928, in Doucette, Texas and went home to be with the Lord on December 25, 2022 at his home in Tomball, Texas surrounded by family.

Fred was the youngest child born to the late Fred Anderson Hill and Letha Ann Souders Hill. He is preceded in death by his parents and all of his siblings: Gladys Shirley, Paul Hill, Margie Nesbit and Tiny Hill.  He is also preceded in death by a granddaughter Latania Hill.

He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 70 years Betty Kiff Hill, one son, Kevan Hill and one daughter Suzzette McCarley and husband Jerry. Fred was loved and cherished by his grandchildren: Jason McCarley and wife Sadie, Stephen McCarley and wife Renee and Krystin McCarley. He was a joy to his great-grandchildren: Wyatt McCarley, Quinn McCarley, Camila McCarley, Victoria McCarley and Samuel McCarley.

Fred was an ordained minister with the Pentecostal Church of God for 32 years and was an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God for 39 years. He pastored 7 different churches during his ministry. Reaching the lost for the Lord was his greatest passion. He retired from ministry from Willowbrook Assembly of God which is now Real Life Church in Tomball, Texas.

He was a licensed contractor and builder and he and Betty have been successful with many real estate ventures during their nearly 70 years together. Fred will be greatly missed by all who loved him. On Christmas morning 2022, heaven welcomed home a mighty man of God.
