Regina Anita Glackin, age 84, passed away July 18, 2024; 17 days after suffering a heart attack. She was born January 7, 1940 in Berlin, Germany to Willi and Ursula Dressler. She married Herbert Glackin in October of 1962 who preceded her in death in 1989.

Gina followed her Army soldier husband back to the states. She was proud to become an American citizen in November of 1966.

Gina loved to love people. She made friends wherever she went. She sewed for her family and friends, utilizing her skills to make 100's of face masks during the pandemic. She also shared her love of food bringing family favorites to gatherings.

Gina loved her Lord and Savior and would often share verses with her loved ones. In her Bible, she found comfort through failing health, loss of loved ones, and even in death. "LORD, you alone are my portion and my cup…you make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand." Psalm 16

Gina is preceded in death by her sister: Karina Pate and her two sons: Dennis Gerald "Herb" Glackin and Joseph Patrick Glackin. She is survived by her by her two daughters: Barbara Katherine Waldron (Shaun) and Vivian Dagmar Michaelson (James) Also, 12 grandchildren: Erin Tierney Waldron(Brett) Rian Michael Waldron Manly Joseph Michaelson(Christine) Peter James Michaelson(Mallory) Seth Thomas Michaelson(Tesca) Josiah Lyle Michaelson(Shara) Hannah Joy Michaelson Naomi Hope Snyder(Robert) Eunice Faith Marshal(John-Philip) Esther Mercy Michaelson Talitha Love Flores(Cesar) Abigail Grace Michaelson Also, 12 great-grandchildren: James, Clark, David; Ezekiel, Melody; Quillon, Emeth, Gwendolyn; Lyle; Timothy-James; Cesar, Miriam. All of these she loved deeply.
