Rebecca "Becky" Plagens Miles

June 5, 1953 – November 16, 2017

Rebecca "Becky" Plagens Miles was called to her Heavenly Home Thursday, November 16, 2017. She left this world with her husband of 45 years, Randy E. Miles, faithfully by her side in their home in Magnolia, Texas.

Daughter of Harry Eugene Plagens and Kay Francis Ary, Becky was born on June 5,1953 in Houston, Texas. She graduated from South Houston High School in 1971 and soon married the love of her life in 1972.

As her children, Sheri and Randy "Bud", started to enter her life and grow up, she became the ever so doting mother. Her children became her life. She was that "PTO" mother.

Becky had many friends and never met a stranger. She had a very outgoing personality but if you ever crossed her she became a true spitfire.

Her strong will kept her going even after she was struck down by a stroke at the age of 35 and was confined to a wheelchair. She continued to be the loving wife and mother that she had always been. Even though she was bound by a wheelchair, she made sure we all knew she was the boss!

As her life continued, she became a loving Granny . Her grandsons, Wesley, Daniel and Nolan, or "her boys" as she called them became her world.

Becky is now at peace in the gates of Heaven after months of illness under Hospice care. She is walking with the angels and is enjoying life with no worries, pain or confinement of her wheelchair.

Becky is preceded in death by her father Harry Eugene Plagens, her mother Kay Ary, her step-father Bill Ary, and her brother Harry Eugene Plagens II.

She is survived by her loving husband, Randy E. Miles, her daughter Sheri Lynn Ordner and husband Dwayne Ordner, her son Randy "Bud" Earl Miles II and wife Melissa Miles, her grandchildren Wesley Miles, Daniel Ordner and Nolan Miles, her sister Cheryl Lapham and husband Fred Lapham. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends that held a very special place in her life and heart.

Visitation will be held Monday, November 20, 2017 from 5-8pm at the Klein Funeral Home, 1400 West Main, Tomball, Texas. Funeral services will be held Tuesday,   November 21, 2017 at 2pm at the same location with burial at Klein Memorial Park, 9714 FM 2920, Tomball, Texas immediately following.

We would like to thank Oasis Hospice for the outstanding love and care that Becky was shown. The nurses and staff were a true blessing to her and her family during her last days.
