In Loving Memory of Reba Joyce Wiese:

With hearts full of love, we celebrate the beautiful life of Reba Joyce Wiese, who was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 30th in Spring, Texas. Reba, 91, was born in North Zulch, Texas to Ellis and Vada Maddox Jarvis.

Reba grew up living in both North Zulch and Houston. At the tender age of thirteen, she met the love of her life, Junior Louis "J.L." Wiese. After moving to Houston she graduated from Reagan High School in 1950.  Reba and J.L. married in 1951 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Houston. They packed all their belongings in the trunk of their car and started their journey of sixty-one wonderful years of marriage. Reba was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at Immanuel Lutheran Church in 1954. She worked for Southern Pacific Railroad and Houston Belt and Terminal Railway for a combined twenty-eight years, a career which she really enjoyed.

Reba enjoyed bowling, playing pinball, and loved a good game of 42 dominos. Reba and J.L. lovingly raised three children and their years were filled with family gatherings, camping trips, vacations and countless memories. Reba cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the first to give her the beloved nickname "Rebe", a name that soon became used by all that knew her. She was very loving, caring and kind to all. Not only will we miss her, but also her sweet tea, deviled eggs, chicken and dumplings, and her famous toasted coconut cake. We will all miss hearing her say one of her many "Rebe-isms" and asking for her "pearls of wisdom". Her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved her and her legacy of love will truly continue on for generations. We will miss her endlessly.

Reba is preceded in death by her husband, J.L. Wiese, parents Ellis and Vada Jarvis and her brothers, James and Travis Burrell Jarvis. She is survived by her children Kenneth Wiese and wife Mary; daughter Terry Wiese English and husband Thomas and daughter Carol Wiese Holub and husband Eugene; her sister Melba Miller; her grandchildren, Derek Wiese and wife Jessica, Drew Wiese, Dillon Wiese, Lauren English Zimmerman and husband Michael; Kristen English Jaco and husband Josh and Chelsea Holub; her eight great grandchildren Baylen, Henry, Kash, Ella, Emma, Evan, Luke and Liam and numerous other relatives and dear friends who cared for her and loved her dearly.

Reba's life will be celebrated in the chapel at Trinity Klein Lutheran Church, 5201 Spring Cypress Rd, Spring, TX 77379 on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. Visitation of family and friends will be held at 10:00 a.m.  Service will follow at 11:00 a.m.  Graveside Committal will be at 3:00 p.m. at Willowhole Cemetery, 12910 FM 1372, North Zulch, Texas.
