Reaco Alexander, 75, years old, born June 27, 1941 in Gilmer, Texas to John Henry Alexander, Sr. and Reba Harris Alexander went to be with our Lord on April 12, 2017. Preceded in death by his parents, sister: Sherry Alexander Semora (Gene), brothers: Jody Alexander (Diane), John Alexander Jr., and Stephen Alexander.

Survived by his wife of 54 years, Yvonne Gygi Alexander, son: Troy Alexander, grandsons: Sheldon Alexander and Travis Alexander. Brothers: Garry Alexander (Betty), Tim Alexander (Janet), Aaron Alexander (Chris) and sister: Cindy Alexander YBarbo (Donald).

Reaco was a proud Vietnam Veteran of the U.S. Army. He completed basic training at Fort Polk, LA and was stationed at Fort Wolters, TX receiving the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He served with pride and was a true patriot who loved his country. He cherished the United States and the great State of Texas.

Reaco and his wife Yvonne were members of Spring Baptist church joining in 1986. He loved his family with all of his heart and sacrificed willingly to provide for them. One of his favorite sayings to all he met was "God Bless You". He never met a stranger and had a gift for gab.

Reaco was passionate about woodworking, knife making, and electronics spending 30 years with Spring I.S.D. as a Computer Technician and their "jack of all trades" who repaired things no one else could fix!

He met the love of his life when she was only 13. He had to wait two years for their first date after gaining her father's permission to take her out and only when chaperoned by her 7- year old brother, Jean Pierre. He married her a year later on his birthday and according to Yvonne, "so he would never forget their anniversary".

Reaco was a devout Christian who loved his bride more than life itself. She will be forever in his heart and we're sure he is preparing her sewing room so it will be perfect when she joins him in Heaven.
