Raymond Dewitt Townley was born in Oakdale, Louisiana to parents Dewitt Franklin Townley and Oline Guillory on June 17, 1941.

Raymond Dewitt Townley survived by his wife Christine Townley of 13 years, daughter Melissa Ann Brantley of Magnolia, Texas, son Steven Matthew Townley of Houston, Texas, step daughter Alisha (David) Silver of Richmond, Texas, Rebecca Williams of Richmond, Texas; Grandson Derek Ray (Delaina LeRoy) Jett of Austin, Texas, Grandson Tristan Michael Jett of Round Rock, Texas; and, Great Grand Daughter Everleigh Austin Jett of Austin, Texas; Niece Judith Townley, of Bell City Louisiana and Nephew James (Bubba) Townley of Lake Charles Louisiana; including many great and great great nieces and nephews.

Raymond Dewitt Townley is preceded in death by his father Dewitt Franklin Townley, his mother Oline Guillory, brother Ronald James Townley and his loving wife of 35 years Elizabeth Mancillas Townley.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, August 18th, 2026 at 10:30am at St. Thomas The Apostle, 1603 Avenue N, Huntsville, Texas 77340, with Fr. Matthew Krusleski officiating.  Private Interment to follow in Klein Memorial Park at a later time.
