Gene Dillman lost his battle with lung cancer on November 5, 2016 at his home with his wife Lana by his side. He was the son of Raymond and Janet Dillman of Cushing, Gene was born September 9, 1945 in Odessa, Tx but grew up in Tulsa, OK where he graduated from Tulsa High School. He attended and graduated fromSouthwestern State University with a BBA degree. While at Southwestern he played football and baseball on scholarship. Gene worked in the oilfield after he graduated but soon after was

drafted in the Army and served in Vietnam for two years. He came back and started work at Dresser Industries for the next 15 years. After Dresser he worked at various companies relating to the oilfield in Sales. In 2007 Gene was ready to retire. He enjoyed doing absolutely nothing to playing golf or cooking for golf tournaments. Kelly Dillman, daughter and son in law Jenny and Kent Eskew. Grandchildren Jordan, Kelly, Wes, Casey, Duke, Sheldon, Siera, Seth and Riley. He had many nephews and nieces that loved him very much. A memorial visitation will be held from 5 to 8 pm on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at the Klein Funeral Home in Magnolia.  A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Friday, November 11, 2016 at the Woodlands First Baptist Church.
