Raymond Cecil "Bo" Rickett passed away peacefully at home on Monday, May 10 ^th at the age of 92. He was born on April 9, 1929 in Magnolia, Texas to his parents, Asa Cecil and Nina Ruth Rickett. He graduated from Magnolia High School in 1947. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1950 to 1954 on the U.S.S Princeton as an electrician. On February 5, 1955, Bo married the girl next door, Mildred Heidler. They were married for 60 years until she passed in 2015 of Alzheimer's. Bo founded Pinehurst Gravel Co. with his father, Asa, and Bill Dean. They were instrumental in building many roads in the Magnolia area. He was a 60 plus year member and served as Past Master of Planters Lodge #147.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mildred; his son, Raymond Cecil "Ricky" Rickett, Jr.; his father, Asa Cecil Rickett; his mother, Nina Ruth Strickland Rickett; his brothers, Obren Rickett and Mann Rickett; and his sister, Billie Ruth Rickett Morgenroth.

He is survived by his children: Tracy Janota, Suzanne Holland and husband Johnny, Jon Rickett, and daughter-in-law, Alta Rickett. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren: Asa Rickett and wife Brooke, Devin Devore and husband Tommy, Wesley Hanna and wife Stacie, Bailey Hanna and wife Brenda, Aaron Rickett, Austin Rickett and wife Elisa, and Harley Holland; twelve great-grandchildren: Avery Beaux Dean, Asa Rickett III, Aiden Rickett, Ava Rickett, Conner Hanna, Asher Rickett, Patrick Devore, Hadley Rickett, Case Hanna, Hugh Devore, Levi Hanna, and baby Devore arriving soon; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Our family would like to give special thanks to long-time friend Roy Choate; Elvira Rangel and daughters, Tiffany and Sara; Alejandra Miranda; Sharon Rose and Devotion Hospice for their attention and devotion to Bo.
