"The" Randy E Miles (Husband, Dad, PawPaw, Superman) was born on February 11, 1953 to Robert Earl & Elnora Miles in South Houston, TX. He unexpectedly went to be with the Lord on July 18, 2022 at his home in Magnolia, TX. He is preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Diane, who he was whole heartedly devoted to.
Randy was not the kind of person to "conform", some might even say a Rebel. He went crawfish and well anything hunting with his BB gun in the ditch back behind his house as a kid. He had long hair as a teen and drove a motorcycle and Ford Mustang, which drove his parents alittle wild. When Randy had an opinion on something, you could have yours but in the end you did it his way- and he was usually right!
Randy was a Giver. He would stop whatever he was doing to help you out of a bind. He gave his life to his wife Becky when she had a devastating stroke at the age of 36. He was her sole care giver for all those years before her passing. He gave her the best life he knew how and taught so many what true love and devotion looks like.
Randy was a Fixer. If Randy couldn't fix it, well it was truly broke and no one could fix it. He could tinker with just about anything. Randy was an Electrician by trade, where he almost won the state championship competetion for journeymen. He was full of so much knowledge. You don't ask Google for information you just asked Randy!
He was an avid Fisherman, especially after Becky's passing. If the wind was just right and he checked everyday even knowing the long term wind predictions, he was on the Lake. He had a lot of "CRAPPIE" days! Remember to Always go Fishing- it's Good Fer Ya! Well Randy thought so!
Above all Randy was the BEST DAD and PAWPAW! His 2 children Sheri and Randy(Bud) were his greatest accomplishments. He was the overseer- the lifeline- the Rock! He was a fine example of what a parent is and does. He would always be DAD no matter how old the kids were. DADS got this, was what he would say. His 3 grandsons, Wesley, Daniel and Nolan were the apple of his eye. He loved them and was so very proud of them. He loved spending time with them going fishing, watching them at their events and always encouraging them even when they may not have done so well. He spoiled them. He would slip them alittle gas station money here and there.
Randy had a tough exterior but a heart of Gold. His word was binding. He had many friends but if you asked him he had only 2! Consider yourself one of the lucky 2- we won't tell the others! They truly broke the mold when Randy E Miles was born. He was one in a million, loved beyond belief and will be GREATLY missed!
He is preceded in death by wife Rebecca Diane Plagens Miles, his Mother Elnora J Windham Miles, and his Father Robert Earl Miles.
He is survived by his Brother Danny Miles, Sister Beverly Miles Taylor, his Daughter Sheri Miles Ordner-her husband Dwayne Ordner, his Son Randy (Bud) Miles II-his wife Melissa Miles and 3 grandsons Wesley Earl Miles, Daniel Earl Ordner and Nolan Eric Miles.
The family has asked that memorial donations be made to MD Anderson Cancer Center .
