Randolph Bailey Griffith, born on February 21, 1948, in Charleston, West Virginia, peacefully passed away on March 9, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pam Griffith; his mother, Minnie Lee Lindenmuth; his father, Robert Bruce Griffith II; and his granddaughter, Courtney Potts. He is survived by his daughters, Maridith Potts (Brad Potts), Judy Griffith, and Adam Griffith; his granddaughters, Kayla Sample and Kelsey Sample; his grandson, William Potts; his great-granddaughter, Kylie Rosecrans; and his brother, Robert Griffith III.
Randy embarked on his career as an ambulance driver for Blue Cross Blue Shield before transitioning to a fulfilling role as a mounted patrol officer for the New Mexico State Police. His passion for aviation led him to TWA, where he traveled to numerous cities that he cherished. However, Albuquerque, New Mexico, remained his true home, where he settled with his family at a young age. Randy's interests extended beyond his professional life to include photography, a sharp sense of humor, and a deep love for aviation.
His passing leaves an indelible mark on his family and friends, who will fondly remember his life and legacy. A wake will be held in his honor on Monday, May 18th, at his daughter Judy's home.
