Randle Scott Thomas, of Houston, Texas, was born on December 19, 1962, and passed away on January 30, 2022.
He is preceded in death by his father, LeRoy Randle Thomas.
Randle is survived by his loving wife, Karen Thomas; his sons, Scott Thomas and Kyle Thomas; his mother, Patsy Thomas; sister, Deborah Thomas; sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Steven Kubala; sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Ron Vyvial; nephews, Jacob Thomas, Chris Kubala and wife Stefanie, Philip Kubala and wife Emily, and Adam Vyvial and wife Caroline; and niece, Emily Aki and husband Rusty. great nieces; Melanie Kubala, Nancy Vyvial, Tess Vyvial, Pearl Vyvial, Katy Aki, Maile Aki, and Emma Aki; great nephews, Grant Kubala, and Elgin Vyvial.
Randle just recently retired from Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District. He was an Auto-Tech Instructor at Cy-Falls High School for 18 years, he started the program at Cy-Falls. He was a sponsor of the Cy-Falls Men of Honor Club. Prior to that, he was an Auto-Tech Instructor for San Jacinto College for 17 years.
Randle was also involved in the Boy Scouts of America, Sam Houston Area Council. He was Cub Master of Pack 771, Committee Chairman for Troop 277 and was involved with the Colonneh Lodge Order of the Arrow and Soaring Eagle District.
In lieu of flowers, Randle requested a Scholarship Fund be set up for Cypress-Fairbanks I.S.D. Automotive Students to further their education in automotive technology. www.randlethomas.org .
Visitation will be held from 5-8pm with a Vigil Service at 7pm on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Klein Funeral Home, 9719 Wortham Blvd., Houston, TX 77065. A memorial service for Randle will be held at 10am on Friday, February 25, 2022 at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, to be followed by committal in St. John The Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Schulenburg, TX.
