Randall Wayne Selby Senior went to be with the Lord too soon on November 9, 2021
Randy was born May 26, 1945 in Nebraska City, Nebraska. He attended Nebraska University and was a diehard Cornhusker! He was a man of Integrity. He loved God, his family, teaching Real Estate and playing golf. But Golf was his passion! As a man of God, he shared the love of God with anyone in his path. He was a shoulder to cry on, a sound board or just a friend. He loved his job as a Broker in Real Estate. He thrived off of helping others find a peaceful conclusion to problems. He had a beautiful, loving family that will continue on with the legacy he left them. He leaves behind his only son Randall Wayne Selby,Jr, & daughters Lori,Christi,Angie and Jacki. Grand children, Amory, AriAnn, Avelynn,Anders,Kelby,Kyler,Christopher,
Madison,Forrest,
Faith and Foster. Great grandchildren, Charlotte, Evelynn,Keeley & Kinsley.
Earl and Mildred Selby (a farm family), adopted two children, Randy and Connie. They learned the hard work of a farmer, planting, milking cows & bailing hay, which they performed before school.
He was accepted into the Air Force Academy and served for 4 years. In 1990, God guided him to his biological sister, Kay Haynes and brothers, Butch, Gerald & Roger Long. He never got to meet his biological mom, Delma Long. But his Grandmother Hofmann lived to be 104. She told him at 99 she was waiting for his call. Randy and the Selby family got to enjoy her for 5 years. His adopted mom Mildred Selby is probably introducing Randy to Delma now.
Randy said to tell all of his students & co-workers to work hard but take time for family. Life is shorter than you think!
