Randall (Rando) Carter Gibbs of Houston, Texas, passed away at the age of 64 on November 12, 2018 at his sister's home in Cypress, Texas after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was preceded in death by his parents Joe T. Gibbs MD, Priscilla Johnson Montgomery, and brother Terrell T. Gibbs. Rando is survived by his loving family sister Cathleen (Cassie) Gibbs Kaiser, husband Jeff, nephews Ryan and wife Meghan of Cypress, TX, and Brandon of San Antonio, TX,; stepmother Patsy Gibbs-Satterwhite of Chula Vista, CA, sister Mollie Gibbs-Garner, husband Rob, niece K.T. Gibbs of Pinole, CA, brother Brian T. Gibbs, nephews, Ian and Keith, of Carnelian Bay, CA.

Rando, a native Houstonian, grew up in Bellaire and graduated from Bellaire High School.

Charismatic, unforgettable, a wonderful storyteller who entertained both family and friends!  He had a remarkable memory and love of poetry & music.  He often recited passages from classic & contemporary artists.

He was an accomplished drywall finisher and telecommunication salesman who loved reading and gun collecting.

Rando lived life his way and will be missed by everyone that had the privilege to know him.  A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
