Randall "Randy" George Carpenter, 73, of Spring, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on August 31, 2024. He was born December 10, 1950, in Houston, Texas to the late Henry Carpenter and Audrey (Gresham) Carpenter. He was a 1970 graduate of Waltrip High School. He married Irma in May 1998.

He is survived by his loving wife, Irma Ramos-Carpenter; his daughters and sons-in-law, Lana Stewart (her husband Shawn) and Leigh Hale (her husband Dan); his grandchildren, Layla and Nate Stewart, Faith Hale Lunsford (Davis), William Hale (Alison), Grace Hale, Hope Hale, Alex Hale, and Isaiah Hale. His sister Barbara Meineke and brother-in-law Bob Meineke; his brother Ronald Carpenter (Thelma).

Including his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Beverly McKinney, Robert Carpenter, and Richard Carpenter.

Randy was a devoted husband, a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, brother-in-law, and wonderful friend to many. He was always there for his daughters and grandchildren. He loved and cherished his grandkids to no end and felt so blessed being around them. They meant the world to him. He would attend whatever sport they were in when possible or would want to hear about what they were up to.

He made friends wherever he went. He had his great friend, Larry Osborn, his walking partner and Denny's breakfast buddy, there wasn't a day they didn't have a discussion over the Astros. And all the many friends he has made throughout even at the resorts that we frequented the most. They knew him as soon as we arrived and catered to him (he loved that). His speeches at his nieces or nephews' weddings or special occasions will be missed. He loved his Mexican food.

He loved to travel and was always looking forward to that next trip. Riviera Maya area was his favorite place and always planning for those bi-annual vacations. He was blessed to have taken some of his bucket list destinations such as, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, St. Lucia, Jamaica, Maui, Alaskan cruise, and various other places. He loved telling everyone of his adventures and always saying how blessed he was to be able to travel.

Randy loved being around family, he was a very generous, loving person. He will always be in our memories, in our hearts and will be deeply missed by everyone that knew him. We will always love you. Until we meet again.
