In Loving Memory, Ramona Mercedes Perez, Born September 24,1938, in La Ermita, Moca, to Ana Perez and Jose Dolores Caba passed away November 9, 2025, in Spring, Texas

Mercedes was a woman whose life was defined by love, faith, and dedication. She was a daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and a tireless guardian of the well-being of everyone around her.

Those who knew her—especially her children, Elizabeth and José Luis—saw in her a heart that always put others first. Mercedes had a habit of waking up at 3 a.m. to pray. When someone once asked her why, she simply replied, "I was told that God listens more closely to your prayers at that hour." That was who she was: steadfast, persistent, and always trusting in the power of faith.

Her prayers were a constant covering, an invisible embrace that carried her loved ones through their hardest times. Through sacrifice and love, she raised her two children, teaching them values, principles, and the unshakable truth that there is a living God. Today, her children continue her legacy, and her family—her seven adoring grandchildren and three great-grandchildren—stand as living proof that her work as a mother and grandmother was nothing short of extraordinary.

Today, we don't say goodbye, because her presence goes beyond this earthly life. She remains with us, now from heaven, watching over us as she always did. Mom, we know you are resting beside your God, the one you turned to so often in prayer.
