Ramon Del Villar VIII was a loving father and life companion, local Houston attorney, and pioneer Federal Court Interpreter. He passed away at home on August 11, 2025 at the age of 83 after a three year battle with cancer, never having suffered any pain by the grace of God. A published author, licensed pilot, and avid reader, Ramon enjoyed drinking a good brandy, smoking a fine cigar, and doting on his granddogs -- Arya, Coco, Misty, and Merlin.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lourdes Del Villar; his daughter, Fernanda Brady; his son, Ramon Del Villar IX; and his daughter-in-law, Mariely Matos. His family looks forward to seeing him again when we are all in God's glory.
