Ralph Clifton Miller was born on December 11, 1953, in Houston, Texas. After being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in October of 2021, he passed away on March 20, 2022. He is preceded in death by his parents Clifton Miller and Helen Smith, his brothers Robert Miller and Richard Smith, and his wife JoDale Miller.

He is survived by his half brothers, Paul Hart-Miller and his wife, Susan, currently residing in Massachusetts and David Miller, residing in Louisiana. His son, Todd Smith and his wife, Jamie, currently residing in Alabama; daughter Meagan Mendoza and her husband, Paul, of Houston; son Alex Miller of Houston; and son Jonathan Miller residing in Colorado. Grandchildren Caleb Lincoln (21), Allyson Lincoln (17), Ashley Lincoln (16), Taylor Lincoln (15) currently residing in Alabama, and Ryder Mendoza (20 months) of Houston. And many lifelong friends he has held dear over his 68 years.

Ralph was originally born in Houston, Texas, but moved to Shreveport, Louisiana during Elementary School where he attended Middle School and part of High School. It was in Shreveport that he made some of his lifelong friends while getting into some small-town mischief. In 1970 he moved back to Houston where he finished High School and started a job delivering coffee to office buildings. He soon moved on to become one of Houston's best cab drivers, married his first wife Jodi, and in 1974 welcomed his first son Todd. It didn't take long for him to land a corporate gig with Mitsui Corporation. It was at Mitsui that he met his second wife, Diana, and over the next 13 years they welcomed his first and only daughter, Meagan, followed by his sons Alex and Jonathan. In 1995 he married his third wife, JoDale. He was a Corporate Chauffeur with Mitsui for over 35 years before retiring, but he was happy to say, "I'm not retired, I'm a Professional Grandpa!"

If you were lucky enough to know Ralph, then you know he had a charisma that few people possess. He had a style of his own and was never afraid to be himself. He was an amazing storyteller and a master of sarcasm. He would do anything for his children and throughout his life was a dearly loved son, brother, uncle, husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 15th at 10:00am at Klein Funeral Home at 9719 Wortham Blvd, Houston, TX 77065. The Family hopes to see you there.
