With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Rashidra Rayson-Brager, who left this world far too soon.

Born on March 4,1974, Rashidra was a vibrant, strong, and compassionate woman whose presence lit up every room she entered. As a dedicated labor and delivery nurse, she devoted her life to bringing new life into the world, comforting mothers, and offering strength in their most vulnerable moments. Her work was more than a job — it was a reflection of who she was: nurturing, tireless, and deeply caring.

She carried that same love and strength into her most important role — being a mother. Rashidra was the heart of our family. Her two sons, Aziah and I, were her greatest pride and joy. She raised us with fierce love, unwavering support, and the kind of wisdom that only comes from a truly selfless soul.

Her laughter, her energy, and her strength will never be forgotten. She was taken from us far too soon, but the legacy she leaves behind — in the lives she touched, the families she helped build, and the love she poured into her own — will live on forever.

She is survived by Aziah and I, and by the countless people whose lives she graced with her care and compassion.

A celebration of Rashidra's life will be held on Oct. 17 at Klein Funeral Homes and Memorial on 14711 FM 1488, Magnolia, TX, 77354 . All who knew and loved her are welcome to join in honoring her memory.
