She is survived by her parents, Alan and Lisa Reed, her brother Jacob Reed and her grandmothers Janice Jenkins of Crossett Arkansas and Nita Reed of Houston, Texas, and long time boyfriend, Eddie Maiers. She is proceeded in death by her grandfathers Dewayne Jenkins and Ray Reed. Rachel was loved by numerous aunts, uncles, extended family, and friends.
Rachel graduated from Cypress Christian School in 2008. She was a creative soul who excelled in the areas of floral design, photography, music, makeup, and fashion. Rachel loved to travel and had many vacation adventures with her family. Rachel's dream was to see the Northern Lights, she never got the opportunity, but her family will be fulfilling this dream for her.
Rachel was a beautiful girl and always brightened up any room she entered. Rachel had a love for people and animals. She always cared for those who needed help the most. Rachel was baptized into Christ at the age of 10. She was an active member of the youth group at the Church of Christ in Champions. As an adult, Rachel held a variety of jobs but was most happy when she was helping people or animals. She loved her four dogs, Heidi, Daisy, Yoshi, and Brutus. Rachel recently returned to Houston after living a year in Crossett, Arkansas. Rachel made many friends and thrived while living in Arkansas. Rachel is a huge Razorback fan and considers Arkansas her second home. She most recently worked at Public Storage, where she was admired and loved by all. Rachel taught us all how to listen and love everyone.
Rachel was taken from this earth too early, but we will always cherish her memory, and her influence will continue for those who knew and loved her.
