Phyllis Marie Mitchell 96 of Pinehurst, Texas passed away February 3, 2024.  She was born September 11, 1927 in Warren, Pennsylvania to the late Floyd and Martha Olson Hetfield. Phyllis worked as a church secretary and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Tomball.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband Norman L. Mitchell and son, Douglas L. Mitchell.

She is survived by her daughters, Nancy A. Mitchell Bolinger, Lee (Eileen) Klein, and Linda C. and husband Leonard Baca; grandchildren, Heather D. and Taylor Roy, Christian M. Klein and Mandy N. and Justin Byers; great-grandchildren, Marshall Roy, Layla and Lucas Nuñez, Mason and Harper Roy, Tyler (Duker), Logan and Sawyer Byers.

Pallbearers will be her grandson, Christian M. Klein and her great-grandsons-in-law and great-great-grandsons.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Zion Card playing group.
