Obituary

Phyllis Livingston Hutson, beautiful mother, wife, sister and friend, passed in peace on Monday, May 16, 2022. She was a woman of great faith with a generous heart and loving spirit. Her devotion to the Lord was deep as was her commitment to family and friends.

Her passions included music, travel, and spending time with those she loved. After more than 30 years singing in the church choir, she shared her talents both locally and internationally on choir trips throughout Europe. Phyllis was a true lady full of light, kindness, love and grace. The Lord was her King, but Phyllis' family was her treasure.

Phyllis is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Dr. Rodney K Hutson as well as their children: Kent (Amy) Hutson, Bryan Hutson, and Teresa (Mike) Latsis; and 10 grandchildren: Eric Latsis, Katherine (Chad) Staiger, Monica Latsis, Amanda Hutson, John Hutson, Rachel Latsis, Shelby (Cameron) Jackson, and Sam Latsis.

Phyllis, 82, was born February 6, 1940, in Orangeburg, South Carolina, to the late Alexander Hamilton Livingston and Madge (Rodgers) Livingston. As the youngest of eight children, Phyllis was preceded in death by both of her parents and all seven of her siblings.

The family will receive visitors Sunday, May 22, 2022, from 1:00 pm at Klein Funeral Home, Tomball, Texas, 77375.  Celebration of Life Services will follow at 2:00 pm with Pastor Ray Knowles officiating.

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4
