PHYLISS ROBIRA ZAPP was born on January 30, 1943 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and passed away peacefully in her home at the age of 79 on July 21, 2022 in Spring, Texas.

Phyllis was the youngest child of Phil and Etta Robira. She was predeceased by her parents, and her sister Peg Geiler.

Phyllis grew up in Bellaire, Texas where she met her husband of 56 years, Steve Zapp.  Phyllis and Steve had four amazing children, Stacy, Todd, Slade, and Courtney.  Phyllis was proud to be a wife and mother. She was the most gracious of hosts and loved having company over for a meal, cake or cards. She was happiest when family was present sharing laughs in the kitchen over her delicious cooking.  Phyllis also loved to travel with Steve in their younger years.  She had a love for animals and her dogs have always been her most prized possession and own a deep place in her heart.

Phyllis is survived by her husband, Steve Zapp, her children Stacy Cooley, Todd Zapp, Slade Zapp and wife Keisha Zapp,  and Courtney Tornblom and husband Chris Tornblom.   She was a proud grandmother to Darion Zapp, Skyler Zapp, Brody Tornblom, Sydney Tornblom, Chase Tornblom and Sofia Zapp.

We will have a Celebration of Life for Phyllis at Cypress Creek Community Church on Monday, 8/1/22 at 1:00 pm .
