Obituary

Phanor Alfredo Salcedo, age 53, passed away at his home in Houston surrounded by his family on Saturday, July 1, 2017. He was born on October 7, 1963, in Cali, Colombia, to Luis Eden Salcedo and Maria Del Transito Hernandez.
He grew up in Cali and enjoyed playing soccer with all his friends and making fun of everyone who crossed his path but in a friendly and joking way. Around the age of 26 he had his two daughters, Janni Julieth Salcedo and Daniela Salcedo, who became the light of his eyes. Then many years later decided to migrate from Colombia to the United States with aspirations and dreams to help his family and most important to him - his mother.
Phanor truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, chatting with friends and family, joking around, and spending time with nieces and nephews. Phanor had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way and will be forever missed.

He is survived by his wife, Andrea Valencia; his daughters, Janny and Danni; his sisters, Luzmila and Jackie; his brothers, Carlos, Hector, Oscar, and Norberto; and many nieces and nephews and cousins.
Family, friends, and others whose lives Phanor Touched are invited to Klein Funeral Home - CyFair Northwest, 9719 Wortham Boulevard, Houston, TX 77065, from 5-8pm on Wednesday, July 5, 2017, and 2 p.m. Thursday, July 6, 2017, to reminisce, grieve, and support each other.
