Obituary

Peter Alan King Jr. was born September 21st, 1974 at just 24 weeks gestation weighing only 3 lbs where he was told he would never make it by every single doctor except one.

Since that September day and every day since he has proved to not only live but has lived a life most never live and loved in a way most never love.

On July 28th, 2023 after a courageous 10 month battle with cancer he took his final breath surrounded by loved ones. His niece said it best, "I'm not going to say he lost the battle, because in hindsight he actually WON! He now gets to enjoy his home in Paradise."

In his 48 years of life he chose to breathe happiness, joy, and laughter into the lives of every single person he met and it shows in the legacy that he leaves behind.

He is preceded in death by his father, Peter Alan King Sr., brother Stuart Stevens, his in-laws Robert and Patricia Moehnke, longtime friend Bobby and Roberta Highman "Nana."

He is survived by his wife Rebecca "Becky" Moehnke King who he shared 27 incredible years with, his daughter who was his pride and joy Kelsey "Kiki" King, and their German shepard Charlie. His mother Judith Gibbs and stepfather Fred Gibbs, stepmother Lorraine King, brother Michael King, Sister Geraldine Hardin and brother in law Thomas Hardin, sister Debbie Stevens, brother and sister in laws: Danny Flores and Melissa "Missy" Moehnke, Tina and Tobry DeLeon, Debbie and Tim Dowling. Nieces; Rebecca Tibbs and husband Cullen Tibbs,  Ashley Haby, Ashlyn Llorente, Taylor Dowling and fiancé Chance Nohavitza, Nephew; Jake and wife Ankine Dowling, Connor Hardin, Kyle Hardin, Harley Brady King, Christi Sharp and countless other family, friends and neighbors who fiercely loved him.
