Pete Joseph Scardino passed away on October 25, 2022.  Pete was born March 20, 1929 to Charles and Frances Scardino.

He married Marinell Porter in 1948 and they had 3 children:  Karen, Kathy and Rena Jo.  Kathy and Rena Jo preceded him in death.  He married Julia Lee DeVillier in 1959 and they had 2 children:  John and Sheryl.  John also preceded his father in death.  He married Shirley Plunkett in 1984.

Pete joined the Air Force in 1947 and retired in 1967.  After retiring from the military, he worked for Stewart Stevenson and T & L Pump Service.  He fully retired in 1991.  During his retirement years, he enjoyed volunteering for the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center and the National Marrow Donor Program (Be The Match).

He is survived by his wife, children, step-children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
