Pete L. Gonzalez, age 70, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019 in Houston, TX.

Pete spent his formative years in Corpus Christi, graduating from Roy Miller High School and shortly after graduation, moved to Houston to attend the University of Houston.

Pete was a proud veteran having joined the U.S. Army. He subsequently served in the Republic of Vietnam in 1970 and 1971 and was decorated with the Army Commendation Medal and the Bronze Star Medal for his distinguished service.

Pete received his Bachelors degree in Accounting from the University of Houston. Upon graduation, he joined the international accounting firm of Arthur Andersen & Co. His career included stints with Weatherford International Inc., Atwood Oceanics, Inc. and Dynasol, LLC.

In 1990, Pete began work on a law and advanced business degree at the University of Houston. He pursued this course of study part time and nights while working full time. He received his JD and MBA degree in 1994. Pete retired as Secretary Treasurer from Dynasol LLC in May 2013.

Pete is preceded in death by his parents and is survived by a host of family and friends that love him dearly and by his beloved dog Jackson.
