Peggy Lynn Mushinski, 63, passed away on September 22, 2024 with her husband by her side. Peggy was born on November 15, 1960 in Pasadena, Texas to Clyde and Ruby Spikes.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clyde Spikes, her mother, Ruby Spikes, and her brother, Larry Hausler. She is survived by her husband, Michael W. Mushinski, her sons, Dr. Ryan M. Mushinski (wife, Rebekah) and Aaron M. Mushinski (wife, Kaitlin), her sister, Linda Kleppel (husband, Ronnie), and numerous nieces and nephews

Peggy and Michael settled in Cypress where she taught preschool in several private schools until she had her own sons to take care of, nurture, and teach. They were her pride and joy. She supported them in all of their activities, baseball, football, FFA, etc. as they grew up. She became "mom" to many of their friends at the same time. She watched them grow up to become fine young men, graduate college, begin successful careers, and get married. She was so proud of her sons and made sure to tell everyone she knew about them.

She was a cancer survivor and fought through several other medical issues with the same positive attitude and strength in which she lived her life. Her smile was infectious and she was the happiest when she was being a wife, mother, aunt, and sister to her family. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her. We are all blessed by the time that we had her in our lives and know that she will continue to watch over all of us.
