Peggy Sue (Graves) Graham, age 89, of Cypress, Tx passed away in Houston on November 23 rd , 2018.

Peggy w as born on Feb ruary 20 th , 1929 in Boyle, Mississippi to Carl and Maxine Graves. She wa s the loving older sister to Carl Jr . and Dottie.

Peggy graduated at the top of her class from Henderson State Teac hers College , in Arkansas , where she stud ied education and was crowned Homecoming Queen. It was after college that Peggy married the captain of the football team, her soulmate, George T homas Graham (Sonny) .

The couple set out on an illustrious career in the railroad that entailed moving seventeen times over the years. Peggy had three children; Leslie, Don and Doug who she cherished with all of her heart. Family would remain an integral part of Peggy's life, as she treasured visits with her sister Dottie, and road trips across the S tates to spend time spoiling her grandchildren as 'Nana'.

Not only was Peggy a devoted daughter, sister, wife, and mother, she was a brilliant, independent, and forward-thinking woman. Peggy became an accomplished artist mastering different styles and mediums of painting. In her artwork, Peggy progressed from the precision of realism to cutting-edge, contemporary , mixed media pieces.

One of Peggy's passions was visiting the Winner's Circle at the racetrack. Over the years, Peggy and George owned several horses and Peggy became quite the s killed handicapper .

Peggy was known for her positive and perpetually sunny dis position, she was sweet, kind, welcoming and caring. I t didn't hurt that she was one of the luckiest individuals .

Peggy is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Dottie and Jim; son and daughter-in-law, Don and Nancy, son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Cindy; and five granddaughters, Leigh, Lauren, Lindsey, Ali and Jordan.

Peggy will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
