Pauline Tumlinson passed away peacefully on April 7, 2025 at the age of 86, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born on January 11, 1939 in Denver, Colorado to Paul and Irene Heronema, Pauline brought light and laughter into the world with her infectious smile and love of life. She grew up in Los Angeles, California; where she participated in theater, dance and girl scouts. She went on to live in Iran, Trinidad and traveled extensively throughout Europe—eventually settling in Houston, Texas.

Pauline enjoyed gardening, cooking, nature, traveling and spending time with friends and family. She was known for her sweet-tooth, love of animals and caring disposition. To Pauline's loved ones, she was a steady presence, a comforting voice, a source of strength and a well of kindness.

Pauline is survived by her sister, Marcelle; her daughters, Julianna and Jennifer; her stepson, Scott; and her grandchildren, Sarah, Anthony, Christopher, Elizabeth, Innis and Hazel. She was preceded in death by her loving husbands, Martin and James.

Visitation service will be held on Monday May 5, 2025 at Klein Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00PM. A memorial service will be held on Friday May 9, 2025 at Klein Funeral Home at 10:00AM, followed by interment of ashes at Houston National Cemetery at 12:30PM. All are invited to come share memories, offer love and celebrate a life that touched many hearts.
