It is with great sadness that the family of Pauline "Cookie" Cook announce her passing on November 5, 2024 at the age of 82.

Cookie was born in Tollesbury, Essex, England to Freddie and Nancy Cook.

She will be lovingly remembered by her partner of 34 years Maurene Moffett. Texas family; Mary Moffett, Sara & Vince (Oliver) De la Cruz, Grant & Emmy Moffett, Emily Moffett; Allison Moffett (Joel), Mike & Mollimichelle McClendon, Brian & Morganleigh (Parker, Miller) Schoenfeld, Chris & Madelinrae (Logan & Liam) Corona.

England family: Patrick & Rene Baker, Bernard & Margaret Harris, Michael & Sue Harris.

Cookie immigrated to Kansas City, MO in 1963 to work for the Allen Family at their camp Allendale. In 1981 she moved to Texas and Britannia Farm was born. Bear Creek Stables became home until it closed in 1996.  Cookie took a position at Great Southwest Equestrian Center. In 2012 she was awarded Texas Hunter Jumper Association Lifetime Achievement Award.  She was a trainer, an owner, a breeder, a business woman, a judge, a horse show manager and a show steward. She also developed a reputation as a sometimes feisty, say-it-how-it-is, yet incredibly caring individual.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 16, 2024 at The Great Southwest Equestrian Center/Arena Club, 2501 S. Mason Rd., Katy, TX 77450. "Gathering" at 4:00 pm; "Celebration" at 4:30 pm followed by Barbecue.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made in her name Pauline J. Cook.
