Pauline Marie Plaster Furnace passed away peacefully at home on Saturday. March 3, 2018. She was born on December 12, 1928, to Russell Rudolph Plaster and Lillian Pauline Parker Plaster in Midway, Texas. Pauline met the love of her life, Albert Lee Furnace in Alvin, Texas as Freshmen in high school. They were married November 13, 1948, in Alvin. After four years on the campus of their beloved Texas A&M, Al and Pauline relocated in 1954 to Cypress, Texas where they have lived since. Pauline was a consummate homemaker, master seamstress, dedicated mother, adoring wife and loving grandmother. She and Albert traveled widely in connection with the Santa Gertrudis Cattle Raisers Association, Albert's career as ranch manager for the Josey Family, their involvement with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo's International Committee, Albert's lifetime Vice Presidency with the Stock Show, and to follow their beloved Texas Aggies. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Billy Joe Plaster and her sister Yvonne Miller. She is survived by: her husband Albert, son Rusty Furnace, daughters Susan McCourt (Mark), Donna Soape (Roger), and Lori Loobeek (Ron), eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, sister Ola Faye James, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am with funeral to follow at 10:00 am on Thursday, March 8, 2018, at Klein Funeral Home, 16131 Champion Forest Drive, Spring, Texas. Burial will be in Dilley, Texas. The family will welcome friends at a reception at the home of Donna and Roger Soape immediately following the service.
