Pauline Martens Daniel was born on March 30 1941 in Freeport Texas.  Her parents were Milbert Fritz Martens and Virginia Shelton Martens.  They lived in Freeport Texas, as her father worked at Dow for nearly 40 years.  She spent many summers in Westbrook Texas, staying with her aunt and uncle, where she met the love of her life, Lenn Daniel.  They ended up being married for 53 years.

Lenn and Pauline "Prissy" moved to Jal New Mexico after being married, where Lenn worked for El Paso Natural Gas.  There they had their only son, Jay Daniel.

Shortly afterwards, they relocated to Angleton Texas, and Lenn began working for Dow Chemical.

Prissy was a devoted homemaker and raised their son until he was in junior high.   She then worked several jobs to occupy her time, including real estate agent and then a bookkeeper for Angleton Auto.

After Lenn retired, they moved to Tomball Texas to live on her family property.  They enjoyed working outdoors and attending Salem Lutheran church regularly.  She worked with her friends Terry and Ruth at Salem Archives, documenting history and ancestry of the church.  Her family was one of the founding families of Salem Lutheran over 160 years ago.

Prissy was very talented, and enjoyed hobbies, including painting, crocheting, and jigsaw puzzles.  She also enjoyed saltwater fishing at a friends property on the bayou.

She spent most of her time taking care of others, and making sure everyone around her was satisfied.  She was extremely bright and talented in many ways.

Pauline went to be with the Lord on May 30, 2023.   She was prepared, and ready to go see Jesus and Lenn.

Pauline is survived by her son Jay Lenn Daniel and wife Sandra Arnold Daniel of Blanco Texas; granddaughter Angela Lenn Hicks and husband Trey Hicks of Wichita Falls Texas; grandson Taylor Shelton Daniel of San Diego California; bonus grandchildren Kristen Nicole Jacobs and Emily Grace Jacobs.

Memorials may be made in her Memory to Salem Lutheran Church.
