Paulette Lowery Woods, 75, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on June 2, 2022 with family at her side.

Paulette was born on November 23, 1946 to Grover and Bettie Lowery in Houston, Texas. After graduating from Houston's Reagan High School in 1964, she began her career as a bookkeeper and accountant.

She was a strong believer, always trusting that her Lord would guide her and keep her. Her faith helped her through life until she was ready to join Bobby Woods, her husband of 34 years, away from this earthly plane.

To quote Paulette, she was a "proud East Texas country girl" who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life: visiting with family and friends…fur babies Scarlet and Louie…yellow roses…vintage Westerns…Tex-Mex…Willie Nelson.

Paulette was predeceased by husband Bobby Woods, brother Jimmie Lowery, parents Grover and Bettie Lowery, and stepdaughter Mina Sanchez. She is survived by daughter Leah Hiebert and her husband Rex, grandson Jackie (J.R.) Rowland, sister-in-law Sandra Lowery, niece Melissa David and family, aunt Sybil Hudson, stepdaughters Sandra Woods and Norma Divine, close friends David Brast and Beverly Boling, and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation is from 4-5PM (for family) and 5-8PM (for all) on Tuesday, 13 Jun 2022, at Klein Funeral Home, 9719 Wortham Boulevard, Houston, Texas. A graveside service will be held at 10AM on Wednesday, 14 Jun 2022, at the Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas.
