Paul Raymond Thornton's Obituary
Paul Raymond Thornton, 69, of Houston, TX passed away Sunday, January 26, 2020.
Paul joined the Merchant Marines at seventeen years old and served in the U.S.Army Forces in the Vietnam War. Paul grew close to the Lord and came to accept Jesus as his Savior. Whenever Paul entered a room he brought with him a lightness that shined from his soul and a smile lit up by his eyes.
Paul is survived by: Daughter: Monica Elaine Heintz and son in law Nick Heintz; Grandchildren: Jacob and Brooke Heintz; Brother: Johnny Thornton; Sisters: Norma Elliot, Susan Reynolds and Brenda Jarvis.
Paul was preceded in death by: Parents: Ruth Bairfield and Iris Oakley Thornton and Brother: David Bairfield
