Paul Eugene Swatloski (92) of Magnolia Texas went to be with his heavenly Father on August 6th 2023.

Paul was born on February 7th 1931 in Houston Texas to Stash and Pearl Swatloski and was one of 13 children.  He served his country honorably during the Korean war from 1951 to 1953.  Prior to his deployment he married the love of his life, Frances Baranowski on January 27th, 1951.  They had three children, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Paul spent most of his working career as a mechanic at a major Houston Chevrolet dealership before going into the auto repair business for himself.  He enjoyed tinkering with engines and spent many hours out in the garage with neighbors and family fixing or just revving them up.  When he wasn't in the garage, he would be out on the patio most weekends burning a brisket then would play 42 with brothers-in-law into the wee hours.  In retirement he moved to Lake Buchanan and spent many hours fishing and cruising the lake in his pontoon boat.

Paul was proceeded in death by his parents Stash and Pearl, his wife Frances Swatloski, his daughter-in-law Michelle Swatloski and many of his brothers and sisters.  He is survived by his daughter Paula Rogers, her husband Robin Rogers, son John Swatloski, his wife Shelia Swatloski, son Thomas Swatloski and his wife Carrie Hamrick.  Grandchildren David Rogers, Joseph Rogers, Angela Hazlegrove, her husband Charlie Hazlegrove, Darrel Swatloski, his wife Janice Swatloski and Kevin Swatloski.  Great-grandchildren Jeddie Rogers and Allison Rogers.
