Paul L. Greene Obituary

Paul L. Greene, loving husband of 57 plus years to his wife Ginny, proud father of three and beloved Poppie to his seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, was met with open arms by his Lord and savior on Monday August 30, 2021, after a lengthy illness.

Paul was born March 23, 1932. He graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in Houston, TX. He served his country in the Korean war earning a Purple Heart as a proud United States Marine. He was an active member of Holy Trinity United Methodist Church and a long-time member of the North Shore Rotary Club. He was awarded Rotarian of the year and a Paul Harris Fellow.

After 21 years of service, he retired as Superintendent of Construction for Harris County Precinct Two in 2002.

Paul was preceded in death by parents, Paul and Ethel Greene, brothers, Buck and Garland Greene and daughter Rebecca Fisher.

Paul is survived by his wife Ginny Greene, son, Paul D. Greene and wife Meredeth, daughter, Karon Frigo and husband Ken, grandchildren, Justin Hale, Jennifer Cramer, Krystal Fisher, Jennifer Cooke, Shaun Greene, Sarah Ruiz and Tyler Workman and great-grandchildren, Caleb Hood, Bret Hood, Jaxson McGuire, Jacob Hale, Luke Hale, Ava Cooke, Adeline Cooke and Laikyn Greene as well as many close nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family would request that donations be made to the Klein United Methodist Church Building Fund.
