Patsy June Matthews, 71, of Magnolia, Texas passed away on January 3, 2022. She was born on November 19, 1950, in Navasota Texas to Jessie and Delores Muston. She is preceded in death by her brother Larry Sr. and her parents. She leaves behind her husband of 51 years Bobby Lee Jr., brothers Tommy Muston and Bobby Dean Muston, daughter Melissa Barton and husband Ricky Sr., son William Matthews and wife Kim, and grandchildren Ricky Barton Jr., Allison Barton, Emily Matthews, Jordan Matthews, Hailey Matthews and Lauren Matthews.

She devoted her time to raising her children and volunteering at all of their school events before later pursuing a career in nursing and home health care. Her favorite hobbies were gardening and all types of crafts. Cats were also a big part of her life and she always had at least one in her lap. She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren and watching them grow.

Patsy was a great cook and always made more than enough. Her sense of humor and carefree way allowed her to easily make friends with all she met. We are thankful for the many great memories she leaves us with and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
