Sports fan and retired educator Patsy Lee Jeffers Kirby, of Tomball, passed away April 25, 2022, after living a fulfilling life of 92 years.  Patsy, known to all as Pat, was born December 20, 1929, in Neosho, Missouri to the late Rex Jeffers and Bessie Savant.

Pat is survived by her children Paula Ross and husband Michael, Laura Jones and husband Chris; and grandchildren Kirby Ross and wife Caity, Cameron Ross and wife Kingsley, Hannah Bethea and husband Layne, Holly McStravick and husband Robert, and Hattie Jones.  Great grandchildren include Parker and Piper Bethea, Ford McStravick, and Tatum Ross.   Other surviving relatives include sisters Velma Johnson and husband Gary, Linda Roberts and husband Ken, and Jackie Fowler, plus dear family friend Sally Gist and husband Ron.

Pat was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Quincy Kirby.

Pat loved being with family and was genuinely interested in everyone's accomplishments and loved playing games – especially bridge.  She was an avid reader, enjoyed a great movie, gambling, traveling, sewing, knitting, and sports of all kinds - especially professional football and basketball.  Pat never met a stranger and enjoyed good conversation.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, May 2, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 W. Main St, with Rev Bill Haygood, from Tomball United Methodist Church officiating.  The family will receive visitors one hour prior at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow the next day, Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at 11:00 am at Resthaven Cemetery in Silsbee, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers are Kirby Ross, Cameron Ross, Matt Roberts, Mark Roberts, Scott Gist, Grant Gist, and Brian Gist.  Honorary pallbearers Michael Ross, Chris Jones, Gary Johnson, Ken Roberts, and Ron Gist.

The family would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who has supported us during this difficult time.  We especially want the thank The Heritage and Traditions Health for their loving support.

Memorial contributions can be made to the J.J. Watt Foundation.    The J.J. Watt Foundation serves middle school age children in Texas that have insufficient funding for after-school athletic programs.  Donations to this foundation support two of Pat's passions:  youth and sports.
