Patsy Ann Hallmark was born in Leona, Texas in Leon County and spent much of her childhood in Pennington, Texas.  She later moved to Lovelady, Texas and graduated from Lovelady High School.  Patsy dearly loved to play basketball and was an all-star basketball player while attending high school.   It was not long until she met her husband George Perry "Perk" Hallmark from Crockett, Texas.

Patsy married Perk on June 13, 1964 and was a loving and caring wife to him for 48 years.  She was also a very doting mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister and a cherished friend to all who knew her.

Patsy had a keen sense when it came to detail and had a career for many years in accounting for the oil and gas industry and then ended her career in the mortgage industry.

For hobbies, Patsy enjoyed listening to gospel music, growing plants, taking pictures and videos of family and nature and often went hunting whitetail deer and turkey with Perk.  And she very much enjoyed attending her grandson's basketball and football games when they were young.

She also was a member of the Shady Grove Baptist Church of Crockett, Texas and dearly loved the Lord and sharing her faith.  And she always had a heart for serving others.

In 2011, the sign of dementia began to rear its head for Patsy, but it was not until the end of 2014 that she was diagnosed.  Her struggle with Alzheimer's progressed quickly and with much sadness had to leave her Arbor/Shady Grove community so she could move to Tomball, TX closer to family and her doctors. The complications of this disease led to her last day here on earth.

And, though she will be missed sorely by all of us, we know she is now in eternity, - probably serving someone else her famous "chicken and dressing".
