Patrick Woodman entered into the Heavens of Our Lord, Jesus Christ on Sunday, November 6, 2022. He passed away peacefully at Baylor St. Luke's downtown Houston, where he was blessed to have received a double lung transplant in the spring of 2017.  Pat was in chronic rejection when he passed.

Patrick was born to wonderful parents, Daniel Edwin Woodman Jr. and Elizabeth Ann Turner Woodman on January 19th,1957 in Valdosta, Georgia.  He was the second of 4 children, Mike, Kelly and Kevin Pat graduated from Riverhead High School in Riverhead, NY. 1974, at the age of 17, where he enjoyed playing in the band. After graduation he joined the Air Force Academy, majoring in English and Journalism, 1974-1976. He also majored in Business Technology at University of Houston, 1978-1979.  Pat worked for various companies in the Cable and Oil Industry, Fluor Engineers & Constructors, Geophysical Service Inc. (Texas Instruments), Tescorp Seismic Products Inc./Input Output Inc., Powell Electronics, La Barge Inc., Schlumberger and Jotron USA.  These jobs required relocating to different locations, from Louisiana to Utah, Midland, TX back to Louisiana, Dallas, Tulsa OK and of course, back to Cypress, TX.  Along the way we met many people, had Thanksgiving Gatherings, Christmas parties, Company picnics, poker games well into the night.  Just so you know every last one of you are very special to us.  Including Pat's newfound Hobby on the XBox which brought him more buddies into his life.  Thank goodness his grandson introduced him to the Xbox. Y'all have been a blessing and still are.

It was in 1976 when Pat traveled to Houston, TX, where I know he met the love of his life, Monica Lee Walz, the seventh of 9 children. Married her June of 1979 where he became an instant Uncle Pat to 8 children. He had bragging rights and was so proud. He loved kids. Pat enjoyed sports, music, movies and especially books. He and his mother shared books on the kindle and would look forward to discussing what they were reading almost every day. He has two very beautiful and special children, Natalie Celeste and Casey Daniel who will miss him always.  He also had the pleasure of being a grandpa to a super, duper Grandson, Jacob N. Camacho (Jake).

Pat is survived by his mother Elizabeth T. Woodman, his wife Monica L. Woodman, daughter Natalie Celeste and son Casey Daniel.  Pat is also survived by his brothers Mike and Diane Woodman, Kevin and Cindy Woodman and his sister Kelly and Gerald Wolff.  His brother and sister in-laws: Mark and Vivian Walz, Thomas Walz, Debbie Walz, Theresa Manning, Thaddeus Walz, Jerri Walz and Matt and Barbie Walz.  Pat leaves behind many nieces and nephews and many friends, all of whom he loved.

Pat is predeceased by his father Daniel E. Woodman, grandson Jacob Noah Camacho, father and mother in-law Norbert Julius and Shirley Walz, in-laws Rex Walz, Craig Manning, Norbert Joeseph Walz, Lisa K. Muniz, and Carol Walz.

Pat was kind and loving, mostly patient, and a wonderful gentleman.  I will miss his presence every day, especially his smile and humor.
