Patricia Gene Collins Westbrook, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away peacefully in her home on September 10, 2025, at the age of 87.
She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on October 26, 1937, to Eugene and Kathleen Collins. Pat was raised by her mother in Houston, Texas, attending school and graduating in 1955 from Reagan High.
Patty, as she was affectionately called, lived in Connecticut with her three children for several years before moving back to Houston in 1971. She met her loving husband, Clovis Westbrook, in 1972. They wed 10 years later and shared a happy life for the next 44 years.
Pat enjoyed a full life, spending time with her beautiful family and entertaining her many friends. She enjoyed bowling, was an avid golfer, loved traveling the world and cruising the high seas with her devoted husband, Clovis. Pat was a member of the Highland Lakes and the Alto Lakes Country Clubs where she was the belle of the ball and known as "The Queen of the Green". She touched the lives of all who knew her and leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness and generosity. Pat will be remembered for her radiant smile, her twinkling hazel eyes and her sweet, loving nature. Her spirit will continue to inspire us, and her memory will be forever cherished by her family and friends.
Patricia was preceded in death by her son, Michael Ray Stockberger, in 2017. She is survived by her caring husband, Clovis Westbrook, her daughter, Marla Wells and her son, Keith Stockberger. Stepdaughters Julie Osborne and husband Rick and Cheryl Woolley and her husband Joe. Grandchildren Kimberly Cheatwood and husband Gary, Nathaniel Stockberger and wife Tara, Wesley Wells and Rachel, Leana Rodriguez and husband Michael, Heather Reese and husband Brandon, Cody Osborne and wife Ali, Ashley Muncie-Jarvis and husband Nick, Jay Woolley and wife Melissa, and Angela Salzmann and her husband Travis. Pat was blessed with many great grandchildren whom she loved and adored.
Pat lived a life full of resilience and grace, always putting her family first. She will be missed greatly but will be forever in our hearts.
