Patricia Ann Visser died at the age of 78 on February 2, 2023. She was born July 16, 1944. She was a dedicated and loving mother of her only child, Michael Visser, and grandmother of three grandchildren, Christian Visser, Amanda Taylor, and Destiny Ross.
In her long and distinguished career, on top of being a mother and homemaker, she worked early on for five years assisting with installing and tuning pipe organs. Later, she worked as a church secretary at Willow Park Baptist Church in Houston for two years. She then went on to Raymond International Builders as an executive assistant. In 1989, she returned to her home state of California and worked as Executive Assistant to several world-renowned cancer research doctors at the City of Hope Cancer Research Center there. She authored many articles in their magazine and was loved by the staff and was a huge contribution to their cause.
After retiring, she returned to Texas to be closer to her family and settle into retirement in Tomball. She then enjoyed many traveling adventures with her best friend, Al Reed. She enjoyed Bible study and dining outings with her girlfriends in her lovely neighborhood. She loved shopping at Granny's Corner in Tomball, finding bargains at the resale shops, and spending time with her sweet cat, Prince. She will be missed by all her family, and friends who loved her dearly.
A memorial service celebrating Patricia's life and faith will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 24, at Klein Funeral Home - Magnolia-The Woodlands, 14711 FM 1488, Magnolia.
