Patricia Diane (Siegrist) Smethers, of
Houston Texas
, passed away on April 18, 2018. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a caring, thoughtful, creative, beautiful woman born in Atlanta, GA and raised in Edinburg, TX where she married the love of her life, Carey, on April 18, 1971 after graduating from the University of Texas – Pan American with a Bachelors of Chemistry. She retired after many years as the Chemistry Lab Coordinator at Tomball College. She loved to make stained glass & fusing pieces, teaching in her spare time and making yearly trips to Vegas to take classes.
She is survived by her husband, Carey Smethers: daughter, Nicole Wroblewski (Michael); son, Jason Smethers; sister, Barbara Siegrist; grand-sons, Richard Wroblewski, Austin Wright; and grand-daughter, Alexandria Wroblewski. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Robert & Doris Siegrist, and brother, Michael Siegrist.
Visitation will be held at Klein Funeral Home, 16131 Champion Forest Dr. from 1 to 3 PM Friday, April 27th , with burial to follow at Klein Memorial Park .
