Patricia Neuse, "Pat" to friends and family passed away peacefully, Thursday April 14, 2022. She is survived by her beloved husband Pete Neuse, her sister Sheila Waldrep of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, nieces, and numerous close friends.
Pat was born in Sheffield, Alabama on January 6, 1944. She lived in Memphis after graduation from Larimore Business School, and then moved to Austin, Texas and was employed by the City of Austin as a programs manager. She met Pete in 1975, and then moved to Belton, Texas and married Pete in 1981. She graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Mary Hardin Baylor University, Belton, Texas. Together they lived in several different cities, and finally located in Houston in 1996. She had extensive background in the residential real estate business and was recognized on numerous occasions for her production and closing rates.
Pat was a big sister with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Austin. She also volunteered with the Rape Crisis center of Austin, and was a coordinator for Meals on Wheels with St. Williams Catholic Church in Round Rock, Texas.
Pat was an avid reader, and particularly enjoyed mystery novels. She was a "die hard" Longhorn fan, and always looked forward to the college football season. Pat also loved to "kick back" and fish when the opportunity presented itself, particularly on the Alabama and Texas coasts. She enjoyed spending time with Sheila and her late sister Carol, as they would catch up on family happenings and also sailing on Carol's 75 foot wooden sail boat.
