Patricia (Pat) Millwee went to be with the Lord on July 18, 2023, after a 5 year battle with pancreatic cancer.  In her last days she showed her faith and strength as she told everyone what a wonderful life she lived, and the Lord calling her home.

Pat was born September 30th, 1938, in Johnsonburg, Pennsylvania to John Myers and Letha Myers.  She was the oldest child, having one younger brother.  She spent her childhood growing up in Johnsonburg and spending a lot of time at her grandparents.  Pat received her bachelor's degree from Lockhaven State University and her master's from Townson State.  She met the love of her life, Carl Millwee, while working at a swimming pool during the school summer break.  Pat and Carl were married shortly thereafter and lived briefly in Baltimore, MD and New Rochelle, NY.  They moved to Houston in 1972 and lived in Houston for the next 40 years.  Pat worked as a guidance counselor at Wunderlich Middle School for over 25 years.  They moved to Tulsa, OK in 2012 and returned to The Woodlands two years ago.

Pat's greatest strength was her faith.  She was an active member in church, leading Sunday school groups and either running or participating in bible studies. Pat's greatest delight was her family.  Pat's life demonstrated selfless love, consistently putting her family's needs before her own. She was actively engaged either coaching or supporting her children through various sports or extracurricular activities.  Many kids knew "Coach Pat" as the basketball coach who taught them to drive to the basket or how to do the star drill for warmups.  Pat was often known as a second mom to her boys' friends, always willing to listen and offer advice or just a pat on the back.  She was always opening her home to family and friends for holidays and special events.  Pat's genuine goodness touched all who knew her.

Pat is survived by her husband of 53 years, Carl Eldon Millwee; son, David Millwee and his wife Jean; son, John Millwee and his wife Barbara; granddaughter, Allison Millwee; grandsons, Andrew Millwee and Patrick Millwee; and her brother, Roger Myers and his wife Elaine.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, John and Letha Myers.

Memorial Services will be held August 1st at 10:00 AM in The Robb Chapel at The Woodlands Methodist Church, 2200 Lake Woodlands DR, The Woodlands, TX 77380.  Final interment will be in Klein Memorial Park 2920, Garden of the Redeemer.
