Patricia (Pat) Ann James Lyons passed away on Thursday, March 28th, 2024. She was born on July 23rd, 1940, in Hubbard,TX to parents, Lewis & Alyne James. Pat moved to the Houston area and graduated from high school in 1958.

She got a job at Prudential Insurance as a secretary. That is where she met her husband of 52 years, Hartwell "Sonny" Lyons. They enjoyed going to Rice football games and joined bowling leagues, etc. while dating. Once married and with a few of the "Lyons Girls" to tote, they relocated in 1976 to Oak Ridge North, about 30 miles north of Houston.

Pat worked for many years as "The Referral Lady" for a local family practice before retiring. She and Sonny also were square dancers with The Woodland Stars for many years. Pat became a member at Oak Ridge Baptist Church in the late 70's where she volunteered and participated in several groups. She had always loved to sing. So, it was an easy transition to become a member of the church choir, and then to the Silver Bells later in life.

She is survived by daughters Lisa Lyons, Denise Lyons, and Deanna Lembrich. Deanna's husband, Todd Lembrich, along with their 3 children Blake Lembrich with wife Caitlin and their 2 children Sequoia and Sahara, Brooke Clement and husband Shane Clement, and Hailey Cooper with husband Brice Cooper, and Cash Hejl. All of whom were adored by their Nana. Pat's baby sister, Anita Spedale and husband Michael Spedale with daughters Christi Hill, Robyn Zayas and son James Craig Hill, along with numerous family members will miss her as well.

Including both of her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Sonny Lyons and daughter Janet Hejl, sister Joyce Cumbie and several other relatives. But oh, what a reunion they all must have had in heaven!

Pat had many family and friends that thought the world of her. We, as a family, also want to include mentioning the ladies at Elara Care, Kasie and Emily, as well as Purity at the assistance home. They loved and took great care of her in her final days.

Services will be held at Oak Ridge Baptist Church on Saturday, April 27th, 2024, at 10:00 am. There will be a pre greeting with the family for guests from 9:00 am to 10:00 am and a reception to follow the service in the activity center with sandwiches, snacks, etc.

Any floral arrangements or plants can be delivered on either Thursday, the 25th from 10am to 3pm or Saturday morning, the 27th from 8am to 9:45. The church office will be closed on Friday. The church address is 500 E Oak Hill Drive, Spring TX 77386.
