Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Patricia Lynn Dildy, 82, who passed away peacefully on July 28, 2026. She was surrounded by the love of her family and her children were by her side.  While our hearts grieve this loss, we are profoundly grateful for the years we were blessed to call her our mom.

She was born to Levi and Mary Etta Lorance on July 16, 1944, in Houston and loved the life she lived in Montgomery, Texas.

She was a devoted and loving wife and mother. Family was always at the center of her life. Her best friends were her two sisters Gail and Brenda and her sister–in-law, Patti.  She loved to bowl and travel to exciting places with family and friends. Her recent favorite vacations were in South Dakota, seeing the Bison, and the beautiful Mackinac Island.  She had the gift of gab, and there never was a time she wouldn't want to go shopping or take a little road trip. She knew how to have a good time. Holidays, birthdays, simple dinners together and everyday conversations became treasured memories because she made everyone feel welcome, valued and loved.

Those who knew Pat will remember her sense of humor, faith, generous heart and defining qualities. She reminded us that life's greatest blessings are found in the people we love.

Bob, her husband was the love of her life from the age of 16. They were married 56 years until his passing.

Pat leaves behind her two children, Gregg Dildy, and wife Kathy, Donna Weatherford and husband Edward. Her 7 grandchildren: Preston Dildy and wife Pamala, Ryan Dildy and wife Breanna, Jordan Weatherford, Dylan Weatherford, Mackenzie Weatherford, Collin Riggs and wife Kylee, and Courtney Riggs.  She had 6 great grandchildren: Levi, Luke, Jace, Lane, Blair and Casey. And her Sister Brenda Pevoteaux,

Mom your love remains our greatest gift, and your memory will forever live in our hearts.
