IN LOVING MEMORY OF
PATRICIA ANN MIRELEZ NAVARETTE
July 22, 1960 – September 12, 2026
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia Ann “Pat” Mirelez Navarette, who passed away peacefully on September 12, 2026, at the age of 66.
Pat was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished daughter and sister, trusted friend, respected mentor, and accomplished businesswoman. She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, honesty, determination, beautiful smile, and genuine compassion for others. Pat possessed the rare gift of making people feel heard, valued, and cared for.
Born on July 22, 1960, and raised in Uvalde, Texas, Pat demonstrated her leadership and determination from an early age. During her school years, she served as Student Council President and participated in basketball and the drill team. These experiences reflected qualities she carried throughout her life: discipline, confidence, leadership, teamwork, and an unwavering commitment to doing her best.
Pat later earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. Her education provided the foundation for a distinguished career in real estate, business management, market analysis, negotiation, and client service.
Pat shared more than 48 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Mike Navarette. Together, they built a beautiful life centered upon faith, family, hard work, and service to others. They were blessed with four children: Michael Thomas Navarette, Matthew Theodore Navarette, Marcus Todd Navarette, and Sarah Patricia Navarette McClery, wife of Steven John McClery. Her family remained her greatest source of pride, purpose, and joy.
Pat and Mike spent 22 years living overseas, an experience that gave her a deep appreciation for the many people, languages, traditions, and cultures of the world. She carried that global perspective throughout her life and believed strongly in understanding others, building lasting relationships, and treating every person with dignity and respect.
For more than two decades, Pat distinguished herself as a respected real estate professional and served as Co-Founder, Owner, President, and Broker of Texas Sage Properties, the family business she and Mike established in 2003. Recognized as a Top Producer Realtor® by the Houston Association of Realtors®, Pat earned numerous professional designations and helped guide the company’s successful transition from residential real estate into commercial sales, leasing, development, and property management. Her career was grounded in integrity, hard work, sound judgment, and a sincere commitment to her clients.
Pat’s professional accomplishments were considerable, but the true measure of her life was never found in titles, awards, or transactions. It was found in the family she loved, the relationships she nurtured, the people she encouraged, and the lives she touched.
Pat was preceded in death by her beloved father, Mike H Mirelez.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Mike Navarette; her mother, Teodora, lovingly known as “Tare”; her children, Michael Thomas, Matthew Theodore, Marcus Todd, and Sarah Patricia and her husband, Steven McClery; her brothers, Michael John Mirelez and his wife, Angela Marie, and Mark Wayne Mirelez and his wife, Erika Rae; as well as an extended family, many dear friends, devoted colleagues, and countless clients whose lives were enriched by knowing her.
Pat was generous with her knowledge, steadfast in her principles, and deeply loyal to those she loved. Her clients and colleagues knew her as a trusted professional whose word mattered. Her family knew her as the heart of their home—a source of wisdom, strength, encouragement, laughter, and unconditional love.
Pat will be remembered as a loving wife and mother, a devoted daughter and sister, a loyal friend, and a respected professional. Her family will carry forward the love, values, and lessons she shared throughout her life.
